About Me

Welcome to ThisIsWillLeGrys, the home of heartfelt music. My journey has been marked by deep struggles with mental health and the arrival of devastating news regarding my loved ones. Faced with my sister's diagnosis of stage four cancer, I found myself at a crossroads. Instead of turning to old habits, I chose a different path. I secluded myself in my room on a Friday evening, letting the world fade away for a weekend.

In that solitude, I discovered the joy of songwriting, creating my very first song by Monday morning. It was a liberating experience, allowing me to transform my thoughts and emotions into music, rather than succumbing to despair. Writing became a sanctuary, a peaceful refuge that cleared my mind and brought clarity. I wholeheartedly recommend this transformative practice to anyone seeking healing through creativity."

With a passion for flipping emotions and mind fog into lyrics.

"I want to express my journey with authentic clarity. While I don't label myself a recording artist or musician in the traditional sense, my identity as a singer has blossomed into something profound. The act of writing and recording has become essential to my existence—it is a sanctuary where my emotions find expression and where my spirit feels free.
There's an undeniable magic in the way emotions—whether joy, sadness, uncertainty, or laughter—flow through my mind, igniting sparks of creativity. In moments of happiness, I might catch myself pondering, 'What would make a great chorus?' or imagining how a flurry of thoughts could transition into melodies that resonate with those feelings. It may sound whimsical or even silly to some, but it is my unique brand of whimsy, and I fully embrace it.
This creative process is deeply personal, wrapped in love and care for the self. Each lyric I craft becomes a thread in the tapestry of my experiences, a reflection of my heart's journey. I take ownership of this artistic exploration, cherishing the silliness and the depth that come with it, for they are the very colors that paint my life's canvas."
